Guests choosing to disregard this policy will be disembarked at the next port of call and may also be subject to additional fees that will be imposed to cover the costs associated with any damage to and the required cleaning of furnishings, verandas, and surrounding deck and accommodation areas. All areas other than those specified as Designated Smoking Areas will remain smoke-free. Oceania Cruises is unable to accommodate women past their sixth month of pregnancy. Oceania Cruises has the right to refuse or revoke passage to anyone who, in its judgment, is in a physical, mental or emotional condition unfit for travel or whose comfort onboard may be compromised due to situations beyond the care that can be provided by Oceania Cruises. Oceania Cruises will under appropriate circumstances permit its guests to use special equipment such as those noted above, which satisfy the criteria stated in the Oceania Cruises' Policy Statement.
Wheelchair Assistance
If a guest needs wheelchair assistance at embarkation and debarkation, the request must be communicated prior to departure so appropriate arrangements for assistance can be made. If a guest is requesting wheelchair assistance at the airport, they must contact the airline directly.

Submit Your Own Review!Excellent entertainment, food service and a great Masseuse
Pros: Excellent entertainment, food service and a great Masseuse
Cons: The Spa receptionist upon arrival for spa services were not very friendly or accommodating and the spa area itself lacked the necessary items usually seen in other cruise ships
Review: Our main disappointment with this cruise was the excursions. One that we had booked was cancelled and one was not as it was described in the description. We voiced a written complaint along with other passengers but we never got a response.
Excellent, friendly staff, very comfortable accommodations, tour guides very knowledgeable, excursions well organized
Pros: Excellent, friendly staff, very comfortable accommodations, tour guides very knowledgeable, excursions well organized

Review: Overall a good experience, but will return to Viking cruises.
Great restaurants, Friendly crew, Beautiful Cabins & Smooth sailing
Pros: Great restaurants, Friendly crew, Beautiful Cabins & Smooth sailing
Cons: None
Review: Oceania's written policy of no open-toed sandals to be worn in the dining room and gourmet restaurants should either be enforced or eliminated. It was unfortunate that we were in 2 ports when shops were mostly closed on a Sunday and on Christmas Day but we still enjoyed walking around the dock areas where there were busy venders.
Delicious Food and presentations / Entertainment
Pros: Delicious Food and presentations / Entertainment
Cons: The shower and bathroom in many of the categories was very small. Many men I talked with said they had to go and shower in the showers adjacent to the workout room. Also complaints about there not being a big selection to choose from on TV. (sports specifically).

Pros: Food was outstanding. Staff was spectacular.
Cons: Cabin was by 3 crew opperational rooms and was VERY noisy.
Review: The ship is beautiful and the perfect small ship! The food was outstanding and I especially appreciated the way they ran the buffets. They served you from the buffet instead of allowing people to reach into it and provided a great clean environment. The service was impeccable. The ports were perfect and all excursions were conducted very nicely.
Updated, clean. Two specialty restaurants
Pros: Updated, clean. Two specialty restaurants
Cons: Some staff had poor attitude
Review: Afternoon tea is nice, but hors d oeuvres at bar would be a great addition, especially if there were healthy selections. The sommeliers were terrific

Cons: Can't think of any
Review: We love Oceania Cruiseline. The cruises are always filled with special lectures, music, games, dances and fitness classes. We are never disappointed! I did suggest they have a daily line-dance class held in the morning or early afternoon. Most of the dance opportunities are late at night

Pros: Food is excellent, staff is the best, small ship big experience
Cons: None
Review: We have been on over 50 cruises on numerous cruise lines. The experience is always exceptional in every way. The cruise line prides itself on cuisine and justifiably so. The food is delicious with a wide and changing selection. The specialty restaurants are complimentary. The crew is the best at sea, everyone one of them is friendly and could not be more accommodating. Entertainment is first rate with great variety using a very talented cast. Try it you won’t regret it!

Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this cruise and plan to sail with you again
Loved the service, excellent guest relations training of staff, food excellent, good choice of ports
Pros: Loved the service, excellent guest relations training of staff, food excellent, good choice of ports
Cons: In cabin TV terrible, movies shown were blurry and they should not show subtitles on such a small TV. even the movie shown in the lounge was poor quality. they need to update to HD tvs.
Review: Entertainment on first part of cruise Miami to Rekjavek was excellent. Rekjavek to Stockholm was poor. Too much dependence on cruise staff to entertain (some were marginally talented). The Insignia band was excellent but they need a screen around the drummer who drown out the singers (therefore necessitating the volume of their mics to be at screech level.
Excellant food, crew service great, Libray a real asset.
Pros: Excellant food, crew service great, Libray a real asset.
Cons: Room and bath very small, The weather did ot cooperate
Review: We had smooth sailing the crew and food service was probably the best ever, if you like to eat! The side trips were very good, and on an off the boat was very easy. The Library was excellent as was the Horizon Lounge. All in all it was a very relaxing trip. The entertainment was very good also. The port in Newfoundland was interest, and also Greenland and Iceland . It the weather would have been better, fog, rain etc. we could have enjoyed it more, however you cannot control the weather. The Fjords were great!

Pros: good room and food
Cons: real bad enbarcation
Review: we waited 4 hours to get on board after flying all night. they did not even give us coffee and donuts.
Small ship, comfortable with very uncrowded feel. Docked in town centers as opposed to distant wharfs
Pros: Small ship, comfortable with very uncrowded feel. Docked in town centers as opposed to distant wharfs
Cons: Staterooms smaller than more recent, larger sisters
Review: Would go again although the ship is showing some age. Would depend upon port/ docking situations.
great food, clean, great service,
Pros: great food, clean, great service,
Cons: entertainment was fair
Review: being a world cruise the ship personnel claimed that it was difficult to bring entertainment aboard. normally they would do so. the food was great with lobster, huge shrimp and other offerings every evening. This cruise raised the standard for all future cruises. It was great being on a small ship with 343 cabins.
Hospitality and ammenities
Pros: Hospitality and ammenities
Cons: Room and bathroom size
Review: The staff of the Insignia was outstanding. The food was average. The itinerary was fun and interesting. However, after paying for concierge level accommodations, this was the smallest room we have ever had on ANY cruise. There wasn't room in the shower to turn around, let alone do anything else. There was no "Concierge Lounge" or any other such amenity. It should not have been advertised as, or charged as, a concierge level ship. I understand Oceania picked up this vessel from Regency and I think they should have passed. Usually Oceania has excellent food but this fare was routine. I didn't have a good steak the entire trip, and that included the Polo Room. I don't feel that we got our moneys worth this time.
So Many
Pros: So Many
Cons: There are none
Review: We loved our Oceania Cruise. We will surely recommend Oceania to our family and friends. Why, we are thinking of taking another Oceania cruise in the next few years. The price was so affordable for the service they rendered. The organization and efficiency with the handling of every aspect of our cruise was incredible. The entire staff treated us like we were so very special to them. We wanted to pack them all in our luggage and bring them home. The ship was immaculate through and through. The food was delicious and so many different food choices to behold. The entertainment and activities onboard were very organized and so many choices to suite just about anyone's interests. We have traveled with other cruise companies but we can say in all honesty Oceania will always be our first choice from now on.
